UMV126 - Back to the Doctors then off to Wales...

I always knew I didn't really like hospitals, I know that sounds a little silly to say but after so many visits for myself or with family - I can only really say that 2 visits were not and they weren't all happiness either - the birth of my daughter and the birth of my grandson. The rest were tinged with sadness and urgency and left an absolute desire to never visit there again! Of course 2024 changed things for me after seeing one hospital so full of sadness but also full of hope and the most positive nurses I've ever seen. Strangely as much as I never want to go back to The Queens Centre at Castle Hill again, I think I'll miss it - anyway, I digress.. This appointment felt like it was going to change things again - I mean, the last time I went to hospital thinking I'd be getting antibiotics, I ended up not leaving for 2 and a half weeks!

We finally got to Wales too - a long awaited visit to see John's mum and some added pre christmas family and house decorating was had too. It was a good week.
