Synopsis

In this animatic, Dolores Madrigal is constantly overwhelmed by what she hears everyday, despite her discomfort she continues on with her day, from townsfolk gossip, to her family’s anxiety, to the cracks in the walls.

The cracks haunted her, she was scared of what the people said, she was tired of having to listen to other people, it felt.. wrong..?

Even though Dolores still had chores to do she abandoned them, and ran home. This is where casita crafts some stairs. They aren’t leading to her room, but to the height of the candle.

Dolores looks at the candle then out to the Encanto. She breathes and appreciates the calmness,, before it is ruined by people who needed her once more.

She took one final calming breath and let Casita guide her back down, she notices her hair is untied and goes to retie it. She then retreats to her chores, wondering if she’ll ever feel that quietness again?
