We stayed in a CASTLE! Yup! The Pousada de Palmela is literally a castle on a hill overlooking Lisbon, Setúbal, Troia and surrounding areas. Staying in Palmela allowed us the flexibility to do and see everything - Arrabida Natural Park, Troia and the City of Setúbal is what we focussed our visit on. Everything was so close, yet we had the luxury of living like royalty away from the summer crowds. Man, the sun is very strong in the summer so BE PREPARED! We also have an unexpected surprise so make sure you watch until the end!
