RUGGED BEAUTY of THE ALGARVE & INCREDIBLE BEACHES | VANLIFE PORTUGAL

This week vanlife takes us along Portugal's Algarve coast to its famous and iconic golden cliffs, beautiful beaches and turquoise waters. We discover campervans aren't always welcome here, but we still find the perfect place to stay, right next to what might be the best beach in the Algarve. With big waves, golden sand and amazing rock formations, this one had it all, and blew us away. Praia da Marinha is definitely one of the greatest beaches you can visit here, and swimming in its rough but warm surf was an unforgettable experience.

We also take a walk along the rugged coastline, discovering amazing bays and breathtaking scenery at every turn. It's no wonder this place is so popular, and it has to be seen to really appreciate its beauty.

Elsewhere, we find again that our supermarket shop costs more than we, perhaps foolishly, might have believed. We're very curious to see what other people think about a general shop in Spain and Portugal. Also, I'd like to be clear we weren't moaning; it was just an interesting and perhaps surprising observation to us. We found the price difference to be most notable on fresh fruit and vegetables. But hey, the alcohol was cheaper! Hurrah!
