PRIMETIME - Watchmaking in the News - MAY 2022

Hello everyone!

We are delighted to publish today this new version of PRIMETIME. Maybe even the most important of 2022 or we never know what will happen from now to December. We will maybe have some other surprise in our our industry during the next couple of months.

The reason why this PRIMETIME is important is that it is the one usually published during the Baselworld and SIHH period.
However, for 2022 Baselworld will maybe never exist again and we have to be careful by saying never.
So for 2022 at beginning of April we had one major event and two smaller once in Geneva. The major one was the Watches & Wonders exhibition on the previous place of the SIHH with very strong brand joining that place such as Rolex, Patek Philippe and other very important ones. An additional exhibition called Time to Watches was also held in Geneva during the same time and a third one also at the same time and same city in a place called Barton 7.

If we are lucky next year all this will be under the same roof the Watches & Wonders, that might happen. Also we hope that next year it will be largely open to the public and end consumer, which was not the case this year but that is why we are here.
