Pesquisa Halal App - Zubir Churrasqueira Uncovers Best Kept Secret - Halal food in Lisbon Portugal

So when travelling to any European country, there is always that dilemma of finding authentic halal food. Athens in Greece has been my least favourite, but I was truly impressed by the Lisbon Muslim community in Odivelas, Lisbon, who have this all figured out. Starting with the Pesquisa Halal App in Portugal, which made it so convenient to find what products you can eat and where you can eat in Lisbon, Portugal.

The best is that most of these restaurants are also on the Uber Eats app in Lisbon, Portugal and deliver direct to your hotel. Before leaving I had contacted a few people requesting where to find halal food in Lisbon, because hey I love GOOD food and food is energy right...what we need the most when travelling.

A very special thank you to @beenishexploringportugal and @portugalhalal for all the feedback. I still had to verify using the halal app, as certain restaurants claim to be halal, but sell alcohol on the premises as well.

Here are some of my picks for AUTHENTIC HALAL FOOD IN Lisbon:
1) The Smash House PT (Their smashburgers are outstanding)
2) Hero Pizza (Pizzas and lasagne with a spicy lift)
3) Rasoi.PT (fine dining Indian spicy food)
4) Zubir Churrasquierra (Authentic Portuguese Chicken)

There are probably a few more good options but given the time restraint, these were what we chose to try.

Portuguese seafood is the best in the world I feel. So many variations and sooo delicious. Lots of seafood restaurants throughout, but always check on ingredients being used.

We were not left hungry in a European city thanks to the above restaurants and the Pesquisa Halal App. If you are ever visiting Lisbon, do check these out.
