Marcel Larrea is a chef and entrepreneur that has opened several restaurants highlighting his Peruvian heritage. Being born in Lima Peru, he moved to Montreal as a young kid and has since an early age developed a passion for food. Throughout the years, Marcel has worked with many great chefs, including world renowned, Gastón Acurio. His first restaurant Tiradito specializes in Nikkei cuisine which is Peruvian food with Japanese influences whereas his second establishment called Chifa offers Chino-Latino cuisine (Peruvian-Chinese). Marcel is a chef that not only delivers on the creative aspect of a concept but also understands the nitty gritty of finances and management that are needed to run a successful restaurant business.
