Along the old road that connects the parish of Seixal to the town of São Vicente there is the “Véu da Noiva” Belvedere, from where you can view a waterfall that pours a strong load of water down the slope, reminding us of a bride’s white veil.
In this parish is the Chão da Ribeira, a wide valley surrounded by a rich variety of plants and vegetation belonging to the Laurissilva Forest, classified as a World Natural Heritage Site. Seixal also has a trout farm.
