Hello everyone! ????

Finally here's Part 2 of our trip to England. It's been a long time coming, but we did it. We visited the small towns we wanted to see in the UK????????. There were so many places we wanted to see and restaurants & bars we wanted to stop by along the way, but we had a schedule and a budget, so we had to stick to our scheduled plan ????️⌚.

✨ Bourton-on-the-Water is a village in the rural Cotswolds area of south central England. Mostly known for its lower bridges and charming stone houses????️ and not to mention beautiful front gardens. We soaked up all the scenery in this village by walking. The total route is about 4 miles or  approx 2 hours. Thank goodness for my comfortable shoes ???? or I would not have made it.

✨ We found ourselves driving to Bibury on our way to visit Arlington Row. The picturesque Arlington Row cottages in Bibury were built in 1380 as a monastic wool store. This was then converted into a row of weavers' cottages in the 17th century. It's a very picturesque village and one of Cotswolds most famous landmarks. The next day, we got up early, showered????, had breakfast ???? and drove 5 miles north-west of Chippenham. We wanted to get to Castle Combe Village early as this place can be very busy with tourists in the afternoon and early evening. This was on the list of my favorite places to visit in the Cotswolds, not only because of its historic area, but because of its outstanding natural beauty.

✨ We celebrated our anniversary at the Coombe Abbey Hotel ????. This is a 12th Century, historic hotel surrounded by 500 acres of Warwickshire countryside. We had a spectacular stay here. I mean, how can you not? The beautiful views, the character and charm is enough to make you fall in love with this place and not to mention the uniqueness of this hotel, there's nothing like it that I've ever seen before. We had our anniversary dinner at their elegant Garden Room Restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal and wine ????

✨ We then drove 2 hours to West Yorkshire to get to Haworth. It's a tourist destination mainly because of its association with the history of The Brontë Family and the The Brontë Sisters. Haworth village is home to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, the former home of the literary Brontë sisters, whose famous works include Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights.✍️????

The Brontë Parsonage Museum, was their home from 1820 to 1861. Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë were the authors of some of the best-loved books in the English language ????. We stayed at this charming guesthouse and cottage called Weavers of Haworth. They served an excellent English breakfast. The next morning we visited the Victorian-style Cabinet of Curiosities. It's a family-run business. It's a Victorian druggist and apothecary shop. They sell handmade candles, soaps and bath powders, along with some extraordinary gifts you won't find anywhere else in town.

We found ourselves not wanting to leave this place. We had a wonderful time here. We will surely come back.

TO BE CONTINUED. . .

We hope you guys enjoyed watching this video. We wanted to capture as much as we could from all the places we visited in England. We leave you here for now and we will continue to bring more footage of our trip to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the cities in Portugal ???????? that we visited.

Cheers,
Greta & Brent ????
