The creation of a spectacular work of art with attractive and delicious Italian dishes at the Social Dubai restaurant by the famous head chef of the restaurant, Mr. Faravolo Carmine. A masterpiece combination of traditional and modern dishes, which turned this report into one of my most special videos.
Social Italian Restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants in Dubai in the Jumeirah Palm area with a very beautiful and cozy environment. The head chef of this restaurant is Mr. Faravolo Carmine. He is one of the best in Dubai where you can enjoy very delicious Italian dishes and appetizers. Today, they are going to make a lot of first-class and delicious dishes for us, the first dish that they made for us in the kitchen of Social Restaurant was scallops from Japan with fermented pumpkin and raspberry vinegar, and the interesting thing was when served they sprayed a special food cologne the Amaretto liqueur, which gave a very good aroma to the food, and the scallops were very tasty.
Another item that we made was Mozzarella Rice Chips, which has tomato powder and basil powder, and the reason for creating this is that it is cut in a way that resembles the image of Italy. We also had homemade bread, which was very interesting. The recipe was for Faravolo Carmine's grandmother, with the history of the bread written next to it, how her grandmother used to bake the bread. Lemon butter comes with the bread, which was an absolute amazing combination. They also made seabass ceviche with caviar and lime, which tasted great.
In the first part of the kitchen of the Social restaurant, Faravolo Carmine made beef tartar for us the way he used to make it in Italy, the only difference is that a slice of beef thigh meat is used, which has a little more fiber and fat. They cut and use brioche bread with a little truffle mushroom, which had a special and unique taste. The next dish they prepared is actually the reality of Faravolo Carmine's cooking philosophy, a combination of traditional and modern cooking that he created in 2007 when he was a culinary student in Rome and every year they had a food challenge at the university where he chose to make pasta al-Norma, a traditional dish from Sicily, which contains ricotta cheese, tomatoes and basil and three types of fried, grilled and boiled eggplants, which are combined together and the taste was very delicious.
The next dish is lamb, which is prepared in Faravolo Carmine style, and he likes to have an abstract combination of food and art. He designed the dish with two types of special sauce, and goat cheese mixed with olives, bell peppers, Brussels sprouts and dried onions. At the end, they served us some drinks and desserts, such as a hibiscus and lemon shot, served with a very beautiful display and poured into a special tube. We also had the famous tiramisu, which I really liked the texture of, it was perfect with chocolate. Magnum raspberry was made with chocolate, honey chamomile, which is the local honey, and it was unique. In general, I must say that the space and atmosphere and all the items of Social Restaurant were excellent and first class.
