I spent a week in Portugal and it was the best trip ever! Here's how much I spent while I was traveling in Lisbon, Porto & Sintra. I'm leaving some of my recommendations down below! Comment some other recommendations down below if you've been!

MY PORTUGAL TRAVEL GUIDE
Places to Eat:
- Time Out Market (4/5 stars): the vibes were immaculate but the food is hit or miss. There's so many options for food though so you're bound to find something really yummy. The drinks here at Beirao were so good!
- Manteigaria (5/5 stars): The pasteis de nata aka egg tarts here were my absolute favorite! The egg custard was so creamy and the puff pastry was perfectly crunchy! I wished I ate a million more!
- JNcQuoi Asia (5/5 stars): Might be one of my favorite spots for Asian food I've ever been to. I don't know how, but they serve Indian, Chinese, and Japanese here and not one dish was a miss. However, it's definitely PRICEY and make sure to dress up if you come.
- Manjerica (3/5 stars): This is a vegetarian spot located in downtown Lisbon. The food was alright, nothing special about it. My server was great though and the restaurant was so aesthetic!
- Bairro do Avillez (4/5 stars): This spot was so pretty and aesthetic on the inside! This was one of my favorite spots for Portuguese food, and the chef has 3 Michelin stars at his other restaurants. The price is definitely on the pricier side and I would have loved to see better plating but the food was good. Tammy didn't love it though! Also, get their mocktail that has ginger in it! Soooo refreshing, I wished I could've drank that every day.
- Sushi Factory (1/5 stars): I really liked the salmon nigiri, but I swear it's because I was just craving the rice. The poké and gyoza were terrible and they ran out of a lot of ingredients/things on the menu. Maybe I was just there on an off day?
- Scoop N Dough (3/5 stars): It's a spot that serves American-style ice cream. I thought it was good but nothing amazing. I think I'm spoiled with Salt N Straw and McConnell's ice cream in LA.
- Mu Gelato (3/5 stars): Nothing to rave about. The group I was with really liked it, but again I feel like there could be better spots for gelato.
- Cremosi (5/5 stars): This gelato spot is located in Porto, Portugal. OMG! Get the tiramisu gelato. it's sooo sooo good.
- Cafe Negra (2/5 stars): This is a brunch spot in Porto, Portugal. Maybe I didn't order right but I did not care for my food here. I got pancakes and a croissant and it was very bland. No one in my group really loved their food either.
- Majestic Cafe (3/5 stars): This restaurant is located in Porto, Portugal. Honestly, the pasteis de nata was cold and alright, but the cafe is gorgeous which made me give it 3 stars. It's very, very busy and very, very small. We didn't order any other food so I couldn't tell you how it was.
- Cafe do Cais (4/5 stars): It's located on the river of Porto next to the bridge. Although it's kind of a tourist trap, the service was impeccable, the vibes were immaculate, the drinks were strong, and the food was good. It's not the best food in the world but it's better than a lot of spots I tried in Portugal.

Things to Do:
- Quinta da Regaliera (4/5 stars): beautiful castle in Sintra! Make sure to buy your tickets ahead of time. My only drawback is that there are a lot of tourists and there's nothing to see inside the castle.
- Pink Street (1/5 stars): overhyped tourist trap. I didn't think it was pretty at all and it seemed dirty and gross
- Conserviera Lisboa (4/5 stars): Come here to buy your tinned fish at a reasonable price! The people working were so sweet and packaged your tin in a cute lil package after. They don't have many options since they only carry one brand, but it's less overwhelming this way! Go get bread and cheese after and sit at a park and make a sardine sandwich.
