For our holiday in Madeira we booked the hotel The Residence of the Portobay Hotel Group. The hotel is located in the tourist area of São Martinho, right by Funchal. The hotel is located on the waterfront, has a well-kept garden, free underground parking, a great pool and delicious food in two nice restaurants. There's even an indoor pool, a gym and a miniature golf course. We were very satisfied and would recommend this hotel.
