A free four-day summer camp is underway in Sacramento County for children who fled with their families from Ukraine during the war. Organizers said 180 children are participating in the camp at Community Outreach Academy Elementary School in McClellan Park from 3-8 p.m. that started on Wednesday and runs through Saturday. Children are doing all sorts of activities together, like dancing, crafts and games. It is all made possible through a partnership between the school and Spring of Life Church, a local Ukrainian Baptist church.
