This easy curried sausage recipe can be adjusted to suit any budget large or small. It's an excellent recipe to feed a family of hungry youngsters too.
Recipe
500g Sausages (But whatever quality you can afford)
1 medium onion
2 medium carrots
50g butter or oil
2 tbls plain flour
1 tbls curry powder (mild, medium or hot)
1/2 tsp each salt, white pepper, sugar
100g frozen peas (PLEASE NOTE: in the video I did not add the peas, I forgot, sorry)
500mls stock (I used chicken)
1 tbls mango chutney
Serve with steamed rice or mashed potatoes.
