BOAT LIFE LESSON #968: Boats ROT in Harbour [EP 153]

After a packed few weeks of sailing in various parts of the world, our feet are firmly planted back on Millie with plans to get her sailing again.
Firstly though, we needed to address and fix what broke on the boat while we were away. Some strong winds passed through a few days before we came back and burst our fender, ripped lines and tore cleats out of the deck. So some repairs were in order as well as planning for our sail down to Madeira.

Before we left the island and after our few days of work, we decided to get a last explore of Ponta Delgada in and walk around the 'fire lake', a stunning climb with jaw dropping views. Our perfect day of exploring got a little off course when the weather took a turn for the worst!
