Best Place to Stay in the Algarve ???????? Portuguese Food & Cocktails in Carvoeiro, Portugal

Date night in Carvoeiro: the Sky Bar, exploring the caves, Portuguese piri piri chicken, sunset and cocktails!

We tried to get a drink at the well-known Boneca Bar but after struggling to get servide we decided to instead enjoy the local caves and rock formations of Algar Seco. Hannah had another bar in mind to visit so we headed to the Sky Bar, where we had some tasty drinks. Although they were nice, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the place as they tried to make it seem too exclusive and made people wait behind a red rope for a long while despite there being tables available. They then didn't let people sit on the front tables unless they bought a €90 bottle of Champagne or put up a bar tab for the same amount.

For these reasons, we decided to stay for just the one and then headed back to our apartment, where we actually got a better view of the sunset anyway! We then went into Carvoeiro town to Restaurante A Fonte for some of the famous Algarve piri piri chicken and it did not disappoint!
