Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal - 4k ????????

Aveiro is one of my favorite towns in Portugal. It is very walkable and has all the amenities that you would want. It is a short 30 minute train ride to Porto and Coimbra or about 2.5 hours to Lisbon.

This was part of my retirement scouting trip. I had to return to Aveiro to see if it was still a favorite. Yes, it is an awesome town and only 10km from the ocean.

My accomodation was a nice studio apartment. It was only $59 a night with free parking.
