Today I invite you for a atmospheric tour to Portimao on the Algarve coast in Portugal.

Portimão (Portugal) is one of the largest cities in the Algarve, the sunniest and warmest region of the country.
In addition to the actively developed entertainment area, Portimão is attractive for tourists with historical monuments of the Middle Ages, among which are fragments of the city walls, ancient monasteries, churches and chapels.

The beaches of Portimão stretch for eight kilometers along the coastline and attract holidaymakers all year round.

There are ten beaches in this region: Praia da Rocha, Praia da Marina, Praia dos Três Castelos, Praia dos Careanos, Praia do Vau, Praia do Alemão, Prainha, Praia da Torralta, Praia dos Três Irmãos and Praia de Alvor.

Praia da Rocha is one of the most popular beaches in the Algarve. Its long pedestrian promenade is lined with bars, restaurants and hotels. At the eastern end of the boardwalk is Fort Santa Catarina, which offers incredible views of the beach and the coast of Ferragudo on the opposite bank of the river.

The beach is very long. Cliffs of incredible beauty approach it, which is why it is called Praia da Rocha (Beach under the rocks). At Praia da Rocha you can enjoy water sports including windsurfing, water skiing, pedal boats and paragliding.
