Do you know where the smallest international bridge in the world is? In the middle of the Alentejo border, where the people of Portugal mix with the people of Spain, whether in their traditions, customs and way of life, there is a village divided in half between the two countries.
The smallest international bridge in the world, just six meters long, crosses the border between Portugal and Spain, connecting the small towns of El Marco, in the Spanish municipality of La Codosera, and Várzea Grande, in the parish of Esperança, in the Portuguese municipality of Arronches .

A ponte internacional mais pequena do mundo, com apenas seis metros de comprimento, atravessa a fronteira entre Portugal e Espanha ligando as pequenas povoações de El Marco, no município espanhol de La Codosera, e Várzea Grande, na freguesia de Esperança, concelho português de Arronches.
