Portuguese secret: discover the Cabril do Ceira gorge ????️
Cabril do Ceira is located in Serpins, Lousã, and is a canyon for strong hearts. A wonder of nature that you will want to know better.
It is at the foot of the Serra da Lousã that one of the wonders of Portugal that few people still know is hidden: the Cabril do Ceira Gorge, a kind of geographical accident caused by nature that surprises anyone.
This natural treasure of great beauty is relatively unexplored, partly due to the difficulty of access, made on dirt and practically only known by locals or regular visitors.
The Ceira River is crossed by a long and high gorge, which culminates in a small weir where a kind of natural pool is formed, perfect for some beautiful dips, not least because the river flows smoothly.
ALMOST SECRET RIVER BEACH
The river beach of Cabril do Ceira, located right in front of the so-called gorge, is one of the most incredible geomorphological and natural phenomena in Portugal and it even seems difficult not to have any divine intervention there, because the space is so well made, that more looks like it came out of the hands of a talented architect.

O Cabril do Ceira fica em Serpins, na Lousã, e é um desfiladeiro para corações fortes. Um prodígio da natureza que vai querer conhecer melhor.
É no sopé da Serra da Lousã que se esconde uma das maravilhas de Portugal que poucos ainda conhecem: a Garganta de Cabril do Ceira, uma espécie de acidente geográfico provocado pela natureza que surpreende qualquer um.
Este tesouro natural de grande beleza é relativamente inexplorado, em parte pela dificuldade dos acessos, feitos em terra batida e praticamente apenas conhecidos pelos locais ou pelos visitantes regulares.
O rio Ceira é atravessado por um longo e alto desfiladeiro, que culmina num pequeno açude onde se forma uma espécie de piscina natural, perfeita para uns belos mergulhos, até porque o rio corre de forma tranquila.
PRAIA FLUVIAL QUASE SECRETA
A praia fluvial de Cabril do Ceira, localizada bem de frente para a denominada garganta é um dos fenómenos geomorfológicos e naturais mais incríveis de Portugal e até parece mesmo difícil não haver ali uma qualquer intervenção divina, porque o espaço está tão bem feito, que mais parece saído das mãos de um talentoso arquiteto.
