[Portugal] VUCI RSB Lisboa Companhia de Intervenção Especial + Ambulância INEM

An urban pumper (VUCI = Veículo Urbano de Combate a Incêndios) on a Mercedes Atego chassis of the Lisbon fire department (RSB = Regimento de Sapadores Bombeiros de Lisboa) responding out of the special company fire station. This fire station houses the regular trucks for local calls but also special appliances that are being used citywide. The firefighters were checking the trucks when the call came in. You can see the dispatch sign that shows which truck has to go and you can also hear the dispatch tones. The traffic lights are also being switched to red for oncoming traffic and a bell warns pedestrians. In this case the traffic lights were activated too late when the truck was already through the intersection. At the end you can also see an ambulance of the national EMS institute responding to another call.

Ein Löschfahrzeug (VUCI = Veículo Urbano de Combate a Incêndios) auf Mercedes Atego Fahrgestell der Feuerwehr Lissabon (RSB = Regimento de Sapadores Bombeiros de Lisboa) rückt aus von der Spezialfeuerwache. Diese Wache beherbergt neben den regulären Feuerwehrautos auch diverse Sonderfahrzeuge, die im gesamten Stadtgebiet zum Einsatz kommen. Die Feuerwehrleute waren gerade beim Fahrzeugcheck als der Alarm einlief. Am Anfang sieht man die Alarmtafel, die anzeigt welches Fahrzeug ausrückt und man hört den Alarmton. Die Ampeln werden für den kreuzenden Verkehr auf rot gestellt und Klingeln warnen die Fussgänger. In diesem Fall geschieht dies jedoch zu spät als das Löschfahrzeug bereits durch die Kreuzung ist. Am Ende sieht man noch einen Rettungswagen des staatlichen Rettungsinstituts, der zu einem anderen Einsatz fährt.
