The hermitage of Nossa Senhora da Graça in Nisa is located approximately 3km from this village. The town of Nisa itself originated on this Monte, when it was still called Nisa-a-Velha, where there was an old Castro, with Nossa Senhora da Graça remaining as the Patroness of Nisa.
The village of Pé da Serra and the São Miguel mountain range, in the municipality of Nisa, was elected “Village of Dreams” at national level, in an initiative organized by the Inatel Foundation.

A ermida de Nossa Senhora da Graça em Nisa, situa-se a cerca de 3km desta vila. A própria vila de Nisa terá tido origem neste Monte, quando ainda apelidada de Nisa-a-Velha, onde existiria um antigo Castro, tendo-se mantido Nossa Senhora da Graça como a Padroeira de Nisa.
A aldeia de Pé da Serra e a serra de São Miguel, no concelho de Nisa, foi eleita a nível nacional “Aldeia dos Sonhos”, numa iniciativa organizada pela Fundação Inatel.
