Congida river beach - Praia fluvial da Congida - Douro - Freixo de Espada à Cinta - 4K UltraHD

The Congida river beach is surrounded by the exuberant nature of the Douro International Natural Park, located in the large reservoir formed by the Saucelle Dam, near the border with Spain.
The beach is part of a leisure complex that includes a floating swimming pool in the reservoir's waters, municipal swimming pools and various support equipment. There is also a fluvial pier from which boat tours depart up the Douro, an opportunity to observe the diversity of surrounding vegetation, sought after by various species of birds that nest on the slopes next to the river.

A Praia fluvial da Congida está rodeada pela natureza exuberante do Parque Natural do Douro Internacional, fica situada na grande albufeira formada pela Barragem de Saucelle, junto à fronteira com Espanha.
A praia está integrada num complexo de lazer que inclui a piscina flutuante nas águas da albufeira, as piscinas municipais e diversos equipamentos de apoio. Existe ainda um cais fluvial de onde partem passeios turísticos de barco que sobem o Douro, uma oportunidade para observar a diversidade de vegetação envolvente, procurada por várias espécies de aves que nidificam nas encostas junto ao rio.
