It looks like our first attempt at a daggerboard case was a fail, so let's hope the second time is the charm!!
Within this episode you'll see what our first attempt looked like once we got it off the mold - and see the crack from the topside, of which made the whole project go awry.
But, stocked once again with all the supplies we need, it's time for attempt two. We have perfect weather, with a cooler morning, giving us plenty of time to apply resin to our 8 sheets of fiberglass, and get them secured under our bag before turning our pump on. Then it warms up in the afternoon to a great curing temperature, we hope!!
Just to be safe we let it sit overnight with heaters, and go back to check the next morning to see if it was a success or a failure.
We hope you enjoy!!
Much love from Annapolis!
Jessica, Matt & Georgie
