Back In São Miguel/We Visit Santo António Ponta Delgada, Natural Pools/Piscinas Naturais #Azores

We came back from Canada and escaped the winter storms and cold weather. We felt a little jet lag... This week, we went shopping and did some errands. We found time to go out and film the northern part of the island of São Miguel, Azores. We visited Santo Antônio, Ponta Delgada, and went to the Natural Pools. Furthermore, we took a wrong turn and found a viewpoint with a beautiful garden that also had sinks for washing clothes that were used in the past; this brought back memories. My mother always used to tell me that she also used these sinks a lot with her mother in Relva. We ended the day with coffee at my sister's house.


Regressamos do Canadá e escapamos das tempestades de inverno e do tempo frio. Sentimos um pouco o fuso horário... Esta semana fomos às compras e fizemos algumas tarefas, arranjamos tempo para sair e filmar a parte norte da ilha de São Miguel, Açores. Visitamos Santo António, Ponta Delgada e fomos até às Piscinas Naturais, pegamos um caminho errado e encontramos um miradouro com um lindo jardim que também tinha Pias de lavar roupa que eram usadas antigamente, isso trouxe-me lembranças. Minha mãe falava que na sua época ela também usou muito dessas Pias com a sua mãe na Relva. Terminamos o dia com um café na casa da minha irmã.
