This spring my friends and I teamed up with Globetrotter Switzerland. - a local Travel agency. We are always looking for new exciting places to explore - that’s kinda in our DNA as travel filmmakers and photographers. Globetrotter came up with the Azores as a possible destination. Since those islands in the Atlantic aren’t that famous we had to do quite a bit of research. With a ton of potential spots marked on our maps we took a plane to Sao Miguel - our first island. Jon, Dominic, Fabio, Andrin and I had had insane and memorable trip. - Thanks a lot to Globetrotter for inspiring us and making this possible.

After visiting many places at the coast and some hot springs in the Jungle we left the Sao Miguel Island. Our first flight got cancelled because of a heavy storm but we eventually made it to Flores, the smallest but most beautiful island we’ve visited. We decided to take advantage of the extra time and visited the hot springs and a huge waterfall.
The Flores Island was simply insane. With only one day on the island we checked out as many spots as possible. This place is packed with little natural wonders and once again the weather was on our side. Our next destination was after Flores was Pico - an island with a huge volcano right in the middle.
