The pedestrian walkway, the largest in the Algarve region and one of the south's largest connects the Três Irmãos beach to the Alvor Ria, across the sea front along the sand dunes.
High by about a meter, the new structure prevents the intensive trampling the dunes, and easy accessibility to the beach to those traveling in wheelchairs, as well as the movement of baby carriages, which thus avoid the difficulties in crossing the dunes.
